Air Cooled Screw Chiller

Screw Water Chiller has two types for air cooled screw chiller and water cooled screw chiller. The cooling capacity can be selected from 90KW to 1200KW, It will be suggested adopt scroll compressor water chiller when cooling capacity less than 90KW. Max cooling temperature reach to -25.
 
Screw chiller is mainly applied to building industry and industrial cooling process in molding of plastic film and PE plastics bag or other industries. The chiller will greatly improve quality of molded products and shorten period of injection molding cycles.
Air cooled chiller condenser coils always have plenty of fresh air. When the refrigerant reaches the condenser coils, the fresh air absorbs the heat. The proportional integral derivative (PID) temperature controller prevents harm from high temperatures and has a set scale that can be used to shut off the unit. Cooling fans connected with the condenser provide a constant fresh air supply. Heat is exchanged by the liquid refrigerant in a corrosion-resistant shell and tube heat exchanger.


Industrial chiller is a refrigeration system used to cool processes, equipments, or materials in various industrial applications. It works by removing heat from a liquid (usually water or a water-glycol mixture) through a vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration cycle. The chilled liquid is then circulated through a heat exchanger or directly to the equipment needing cooling, where the heat is absorbed and transferred to a secondary fluid.

Air cooled water chiller is mainly applied to a cooling process in molding of plastic film and PE plastics bag or other industries. The chiller will greatly improve quality of molded products and shorten period of injection molding cycles. The max different is the way of heat radiation by fans with water cooled chiller.
There are three main interrelated systems: refrigerant circulation system, water circulation system, electrical control system.

Refrigerant circulation system: The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat in the water and begins to evaporate.  Finally, a certain temperature difference is formed between the refrigerant and the water.  The liquid refrigerant also completely evaporates into the gas phase, and is then inhaled and compressed by the compressor (pressure and temperature increase).  After being throttled through the expansion valve (or capillary), low temperature and low pressure refrigerant enters the evaporator to complete the refrigerant circulation process.

Water circulation system: It is an cycle that chilled water from tank into the system by the circulation pump. And then the hot water from the system returns to the chiller. When the actual temperature is higher than the set temperature, the compressor start to work. Refrigerant system absorbs the heat load of the water.

Electrical automatic control system: Including power supply part and automatic control part. The power supply part is through contactor, compressor, fan, water pump supply power. Automatic control includes temperature controller, pressure protection, delay device, relay, overload protection and other mutual combination to achieve automatic startup and stop of the root temperature, protection and other functions. Monitors and regulates the chiller's operation to maintain desired temperatures.


Based on different types of the condenser.
a. Air-Cooled Chillers
    The chiller equipped with fans and radiator-fin type condenser. Use air to heat disspation.
    Advantages: Easy installation.
    Disadvantages: Less efficient in high-temperature environments.

b. Water-Cooled Chillers
    The chiller equipped with shell and tube type condenser. Use water to heat disspation.
    Advantages: Higher efficiency, better for large-scale operations.
    Disadvantages: Require a cooling tower and water pump for installation
